Twenty-five years ago, Emiliano's Cafe spearheaded Downtown Gainesville's Renaissance,
ushering in a new era of patio cafes and gastronomic exploration in what was to become today Gainesville's beautiful dynamic entertainment district. Much time has passed and terms like Nouveau Cuisine, Fusion Cuisine, Nuevo Latino, Latin Fusion or Pan Latin cuisine have come and gone. But what has remained constant for twenty-five years is Emiliano's Cafe commitment to bringing a dazzling gastronomic experience to your evening and that has turned Emiliano's into a landmark of downtown and of Gainesville's restaurant scene.
We have evolved and have "changed to remain the same", like the recent addition of our new full bar headed by Diego serving the town's best and most inventive 'mojitos' and martinis or Chef Ali's incessant search for new ways and approaches to her ingredients, Wanda's recent revamping of her catering menu, or the Live Jazz nights with incredible specials on Spanish and South American wines. Over the years Emiliano's Cafe has been a firm supporter of the arts in Gainesville because we understand that a great city deserves and requires great art.
At Emiliano's we bring the enticing world of Latin flavors right to your table. And that's not all, we also offer a smart selection of beer and wine from Spain, Mexico and South America to perfectly complement your meal, and a full bar featuring our traditional authentic mojitos and creative martinis. We are located in beautiful dowtown Gainesville, at 7 SE 1st Ave, within walking distance of several gorgeous bed and breakfast inns, the renowned Hippodrome State Theater, and other points of local interest, history and culture. And twice a week we offer live jazz to make yours a memorable evening downtown.
We promise we will make your evening memorable, or join us for a fun lunch or brunch. And remember you can always take us home with you.
